Andrew Greenway worked in five UK government departments, including the Government Digital Service, where he led the team that delivered the UK’s digital service standard. He also led a government review into applications of the Internet of Things, commissioned from Government’s Chief Scientific Advisor by Prime Minister David Cameron in 2014. He now writes for several UK and international publications on government and institutional reform, and is a partner at Public Digital.

Andrew will talk through the role that rules and standards can play in helping governments adopt digital transformation at scale. He will explain how the UK developed design principles and digital service standards, based on the delivery of Internet-era public services.
